Congratulations on your desire to join the local workforce and the building/construction industry. To be considered for a YBA Workforce NOW Foundation Tool Scholarship, fill out this form completely and accurately. Return the application, along with all supporting documentation, no later than April 1.
The applicant may be required to be present for an interview. The students chosen to receive tool scholarships will be selected by the YBA Workforce NOW Foundation’s Associates Committee. Their selection will be determined based on the information provided on the application forms received but without the committee’s knowledge of the names or address of those applying. The presentation of awards will occur during appropriate high school awards programs as determined by the Committee.
The stipend will be distributed in coordination with the student, the YBA Workforce NOW Foundation and a local supply company. At that time a list of required tools will be required and guidance will be provided from an industry professional to ensure proper tool purchase. Any scholarship award not distributed shall be “rolled over” for distribution the next year. (Approved by the Board of Directors November 19, 2003)

Who Is Eligible
Only senior high school students are eligible, those students already in a post high school course of education or employment are not eligible.
Students may only apply for one scholarship with the YBA Workforce NOW Foundation.

Please provide three adult references using the downloadable forms. Prior to distributing the forms, place your name at the top of the page then place your signature at the bottom of the page. Each reference form is to be sent directly to the YBA Workforce NOW Foundation office by the individual completing the reference. Adult Reference Forms must be returned to the YBA Workforce NOW Foundation office no later than April 1, 2023.
