Scholarship Programs

The YBA Workforce NOW Foundation Scholarship Program funds three distinct scholarship awards for students taking various career paths.

YBA Workforce NOW Scholarships

In alignment with our efforts to build the future of the skilled trade industry and help students explore career paths, the YBA Workforce NOW Foundation offers scholarship opportunities for students who plan to build a career in the skilled trades, and students that are dependents of York Builders Association members.

Our scholarship sponsors make the Trades Scholarship, Tool Scholarship, and YBA Member Scholarship possible.

Hundreds of students have been awarded scholarships through the YBA Workforce NOW program since its inception.

The Scholarship Process

Students must complete an application for the specific scholarship they are interested in. Scholarship applications are typically accepted until April 1 every year. YBA Workforce NOW Foundation Scholarship applications have eligibility requirements, including student information, references, essay questions, transcripts, etc. The Scholarship Committee reviews all submissions and selects recipients. Students may be required to attend an interview. Scholarship recipients will be notified by early May.

Note: Students may only apply for one scholarship through the YBA Workforce NOW Foundation.
